No. 147 | Battery Park | NYC
I set out to Battery Park with my Spectra and some Silver Shade film from the Impossible Project today on my lunch break. That’s Jersey City in the BG, in case you don’t know things about NJ.
Inspired by the work of Jerry Uelsmann.
I was half buzzed when I made this but basically it is 3 photographs layered together to create a single image. In Jerry Uelsmann’s line of work he does a simular thing only using film in a darkroom. I want to create things like this in the darkroom someday just because I think it’s more “creation” than just mixing a few photos together and changing the properties of them to make it work, he did it by hand which is pretty amazing. I will do more of these in the future.
